Eravamo quattro amiche al bar... (We were four friends at the bar ...)

Today I had an appointment with a dear friend who I had not seen for a long time, a very special person to me.
As I prepared, I thought that I have very few friends, but with them I laughed so much and I cried even more, sharing their secrets and leaving them my.
They know perfectly my universe, my ideas, my projects and no one like them makes me feel good.
My life runs at sixty miles an hour and I do not see hardly ever, but time is a dimension that is not ours.
We make different professions, we live in different places, and we are different from us.
We are opposing views on almost everything and nothing makes us change our minds.
Sometimes we do not feel for months and we have not seen for years.
Indeed weave other reports, and other friends for a while 'we forget.
But, after the meet is a party.
Each meeting is colored by a lot of laughter, is a summary of the previous installments and accurate preview of what will be ...
Hands gesturing, jingling bracelets, chat and coffee on platform shoes or stilettos.
Bonds that are strengthened with the passing years, the kind that you think, make you smile, pick up the phone to call ... but you always do something else and forget about it.
The meeting, smile, tell, "but really ..." "I swear ..." "... well tell me then? '.
The allotment and leave without looking back a hundred per hour, so I'm being disapproved for sure!
But I'm sure that I leave in their hearts the same happiness in the mine and a tacit promise "... the next one!"

Castello Orsini Colonna (Orsini Colonna Castle)

Andiamo a vedere...

I love the castles along.
As a child, my father told me great stories of knights and ladies of manors and mysterious fairy.
I listened spellbound as he recounted scenes of hunting, escapes through secret passages, dances and dance halls lit by torches and candles.
Orsini Castle is a manor house built in 1490 by Gentile Orsini, arts expert military man who made this castle a real fortification.
About a century later Marcantonio Colonna, who won the battle of Lepanto, enlarged and softened the lines of the building.
He did paint the interior rooms with scenes of war and triumph, he realized the beautiful Renaissance garden outside and made the best house for the life of a family of high rank.
It still has four circular towers in the scope that surmount a moat and a drawbridge.
On either side of the grand entrance dominate two bears rampant symbol of the Orsini, offering a rose to the crest of the column, in the center, subsequent owners of the manor.
The entire structure was severely hit by the earthquake of 1915 and the wartime bombing therefore became the object of a slow but happy restructuring, which has now returned to the castle all its charm century.
Within it are currently placed a picture gallery of Modern Art and a large auditorium for plays and concerts to.
Let's see ...
